Drop in a statement from Chase, Bank of America, Capital One, Wells Fargo or most other banks. We pull out every transaction and check that it ties out to your opening and closing balance before you import.
Every conversion is checked against your statement's own totals, so you know right away if anything is missing.
Drop in the PDF you downloaded from online banking. Multi-page statements are fine.
Opening balance + transactions = closing balance. You see a clear Balanced ✓ or exactly how far off it is.
Download CSV/Excel, a QuickBooks .QBO (Web Connect) file, or a Xero bank-statement CSV.
Most converters start at $20–$50 a month. Here, a one-time pack covers a whole quarter of statements.

Not directly. QuickBooks Online and Desktop only accept QBO, OFX or CSV files. Convert your PDF here, download the .QBO file, then in QuickBooks go to Banking → Upload transactions.
Download the Xero CSV, then in Xero open the bank account and choose Manage Account → Import a Statement. The columns already match Xero's precoded template.
Any text-based PDF statement. We've tuned it for Chase, Bank of America, Capital One and Wells Fargo layouts, including separate deposit and withdrawal columns, daily-balance columns and section-based statements.
Your PDF is read in memory and never written to disk. Extracted results are deleted after 1 hour. We never sell your data or use it for AI training.
We show exactly how far off it is so you can spot the missing row. If we can't fix it, email support@version1.io and we'll refund you.
Not yet. Statements downloaded from online banking are text-based and work great. Photos and scans need OCR, which is coming soon.
